The number one development program in New England.

Conn. GC has the children of former NHL, Division I, Division III and Prep School players and coaches in its program. Hockey people choose Conn. GC. That helped make my decision easier.

Do It Different

Join Connecticut GC

Connecticut GC Hockey is a cutting-edge development experience. If you are interested in a paradigm shift in the development of your youth hockey player, consider joining the best development experience in New England.

How are we different? Virtually all youth hockey done in New England operates on a Selection Bias; not a Development Bias. Organizations that promise you development but select athletes by only picking the best players cannot be focused on development. The two do not co-exist. By focusing on long-term development, CTGC develops your athlete over time.

Bantam

For 2025/26 Connecticut GC will offer a Bantam AA team to compete at the Tier 2 level. Unique to Connecticut GC we will compete against a range of prep schools, including Cardigan Mountain, Rumsey School, Eaglebrook and others as well as at least four tournaments. If you are interested in participating in a Connecticut GC Prospective Player Skills Evaluation and Assessment, which will be scheduled for March, please contact us.

Peewee

For 2025/26 Connecticut GC will field two PW teams. One team will play a AA schedule and the other team an A1 schedule. If you are interested in participating in a Connecticut GC Prospective Player Skills Evaluation and Assessment, which will be scheduled for March, please contact us.

Squirt/ Mite

For 2025/26, Connecticut GC’s mite and squirt program will focus on foundational development, learning elements of the game and having fun. If you care about the ‘letters’ associated with your child’s team at this level and your win/loss record (and really at any level up to age 15), we aren’t the right place for you. However, if you want your kids to learn how to skate, handle a puck, work hard, have fun and still have a semblance of a family life, we’re the place for you. Interested in a Connecticut GC Prospective Player Skills Evaluation and Assessment, which will be scheduled for March? Please contact us.

Let’s Compare…

Our model is unique and may seem strange when examined against the typical travel hockey experience. However, when you compare our offering to others…there is no comparison. This model has been successfully executed in hockey hot beds like Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

WE HELP BUILD AWESOME HUMANS

There is an old saying that sport doesn’t build character, it reveals it. That statement is a load of bunk. Sport can be used to build up young men and women of character. Hockey is simply our platform to build great people. It is literally what we do.

What Does the Year Look Like?

Life for parents of young athletes can be hectic. Our approach can help reduce the non-stop running.

Defined practice times through the year. Less travel. Time and space for fall sports.

There is no doubt.

When we started Conn. GC, we were an unknown. The decision to join was difficult. However, we now know that our approach is impactful and it works. Players get better. Families can enjoy their youth hockey experience. The decision is easy.
It’s like putting a puck in an open net.

PROCESS OVER OUTCOME

We Play Games

Meaningful competition matters. We don’t just play games to play games. Conn. GC doesn’t worry about rankings. We aren’t worried about losses.

We don’t worry about the outcome, we are concerned about the process.

Mites play 15-20 | Squirts play 20-25 | Peewees play 30-32 | Bantams play 40+.
